Jurnal Surya Masyarakat (JSM) (p-ISSN:  2623-0364; e-ISSN: 2623-0569) is a is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scientific articles, conceptual ideas, and research-based works in the field of community service. The journal is published by the Institute of Research and Community Services (LPPM), Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, twice a year, in May and November.

JSM focuses on community service issues, including services to the community and food security; training, marketing, appropriate technology, and design; community strengthening and social access; student community service programs; border and disadvantaged areas; and education for sustainable development.

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, not under review elsewhere, and free from plagiarism. Accepted manuscripts undergo editorial screening and peer review by at least two reviewers.

JSM has been accredited SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Decree Numbers 204/E/KPT/2022, valid from Volume 4 Number 1 to Volume 8 Number 2.

JSM is currently in the process of reaccreditation.
