Articles
Manuscript Type: Articles
Jurnal Surya Masyarakat (JSM) publishes original, peer-reviewed scholarly articles focusing on community service, community engagement, and community empowerment through the application and development of knowledge, science, and technology.
The journal accepts empirical articles reporting community service programs and interventions, as well as conceptual or methodological articles presenting scholarly approaches, models, or ideas relevant to community service.
Empirical articles should explain the community problems addressed, objectives, scientific rationale, implementation methods, data collection and evaluation procedures, results, and critical discussion supported by evidence and relevant scholarly literature.
Conceptual or methodological articles should present a clearly defined problem, critical analysis of relevant literature, a systematic scholarly approach, and a meaningful contribution to community service practices or methodologies.
All manuscripts must demonstrate originality, academic rigor, methodological clarity, and relevance to community needs. Descriptive activity reports without adequate evidence or critical analysis do not meet the journal's scholarly publication standards.
Peer Review Process
JSM uses double-blind peer review to keep the identity of both of the reviewer and author anonymous.
Here is the list of our reputable peer-reviewers: https://jurnal.unimus.ac.id/index.php/JSM/about/displayMembership/61/
