Advancing Nursing Science, Evidence-Based Practice, and Healthcare Quality

Media Keperawatan Indonesia (MKI), a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang and PPNI Jawa Tengah, cordially invites researchers, academics, nursing professionals, healthcare practitioners, and scholars worldwide to submit their manuscripts for consideration in Volume 10 (2027).

MKI is dedicated to disseminating high-quality scientific evidence and innovative research that advances nursing knowledge, improves professional nursing practice, strengthens healthcare education, and contributes to patient safety and healthcare quality.

Publication Schedule 2027

MKI publishes four issues annually:

Volume 10, Number 1: March 2027
Volume 10, Number 2: June 2027
Volume 10, Number 3: September 2027
Volume 10, Number 4: December 2027

Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year. Publication in a specific issue is subject to editorial evaluation, successful peer review, manuscript readiness, and available publication capacity.

Accepted Manuscript Types

MKI welcomes original research articles and review articles, including systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and integrative reviews, that provide meaningful scientific contributions to nursing knowledge and practice.

Peer Review and Publication Ethics

All submissions undergo preliminary editorial screening, originality assessment, and a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts.

Manuscripts must demonstrate scientific originality, methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication in a particular issue. Editorial decisions are based on scientific quality, reviewer evaluations, and compliance with journal policies.

Manuscript Preparation and Submission

Authors are required to follow the journal's Author Guidelines and use the official manuscript templates.

The journal accepts manuscripts in English and Indonesian. English-language manuscripts are strongly encouraged to enhance international visibility and readership.
