Article Processing Charges Policy
Media Keperawatan Indonesia applies a transparent Article Processing Charges policy to support editorial management, peer-review coordination, manuscript production, online publication, indexing support, digital archiving, and sustainable open-access publishing.
Media Keperawatan Indonesia does not charge authors during the manuscript submission stage. All submitted manuscripts are processed through editorial screening and peer review according to the journal's editorial workflow, scope, and publication ethics standards.
Publication-related administration, including Article Processing Charges when applicable, is carried out after the manuscript has received an acceptance decision from the editorial office. Authors will be informed about the required administrative steps before the article proceeds to publication.
The Article Processing Charges support journal publication activities, including editorial processing, peer-review administration, manuscript editing, article layout, online publication, indexing support, digital archiving, journal website maintenance, and other publication services required to maintain the quality and sustainability of Media Keperawatan Indonesia.
Fast-Track Review Fee
The Fast-Track Review fee is an optional service for authors requesting expedited editorial handling. It does not guarantee acceptance, publication, Letter of Acceptance issuance, or a favorable editorial decision.

The Article Publication Fee applies only to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication. Payment details and payment confirmation are managed through the official Author Document Center.

Editorial decisions are based on manuscript relevance, originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reviewer recommendations, and editorial judgment. Payment administration does not influence editorial evaluation or acceptance decisions.
Same Standards for All Manuscripts
Manuscripts submitted through regular or optional fast-track processes are evaluated using the same editorial standards, peer-review requirements, ethical criteria, and publication policies.
The journal may consider waiver or reduction requests in special circumstances. Authors who require such consideration should contact the editorial office before completing the publication administration process. Waiver or reduction requests are considered separately from editorial decision-making.
