HUBUNGAN KONSUMSI FROZEN FOOD, MINUMAN BERPEMANIS KEMASAN, PENGETAHUAN GIZI DAN AKTIVITAS FISIK DENGAN STATUS GIZI

Abstract


Eating habits can influence nutritional status. The consumption of frozen food and sugar-sweetened beverages represents behaviors that contribute to nutritional status. This study was conducted to analyze the association between frozen food consumption, sugar-sweetened beverage consumption, nutritional knowledge, and physical activity with the nutritional status of UHAMKA students. This research employed a quantitative approach using an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 143 students enrolled at UHAMKA. Data collection methods included the SQ-FFQ for frozen food, the SQ-FFQ for sugar-sweetened beverages, a nutritional knowledge questionnaire, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ-SF), interviews, and anthropometric measurements covering body weight and height. The results indicated no significant association between intake from frozen food, nutritional knowledge, and physical activity with nutritional status. However, there was a significant association between the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages and nutritional status.
