Author Fees

1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Indonesian Journal of Dentistry (IJD) is an open-access journal. To support our editorial workflow, peer-review process, digital archiving, and open dissemination of accepted works, the journal charges the following author fees:

  • Article Submission: Free (0.00 IDR)
    Authors are not required to pay any submission fees when submitting their manuscript.
  • Article Publication Charge (APC): 750,000.00 IDR
    If a manuscript is accepted for publication after peer review, the corresponding author will be required to pay the publication fee to cover operating costs.

2. Waiver Policy

We firmly believe that financial limitations should not prevent the publication of worthy scientific work. A waiver policy is available for authors who cannot afford the APC.

  • Eligibility & Conditions: Authors requesting a waiver must clearly state their reasons and demonstrate genuine financial constraint.
  • Submission Details:The waiver request must include:
    • Full names and affiliations of all authors
    • Manuscript title
    • Manuscript ID
  • How to Apply: Send the waiver request via email to dentaljournal@unimus.ac.id with the subject line: "IJD Waiver Request - [Manuscript ID]".

Note: Waiver requests must be submitted during the initial manuscript submission or immediately after peer-review acceptance. Requests are evaluated independently and will not influence the editorial evaluation or peer-review outcome.
