The Journal of Intelligent Computing and Health Informatics (JICHI) upholds high ethical standards in all its operations and strongly defends the principle of editorial independence. Advertising or sponsorship shall never influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or the integrity of published content.
Readers must understand that advertising is clearly distinct from editorial content. Any claims or representations made in advertisements are not endorsed by JICHI and remain the sole responsibility of the advertiser.
JICHI may accept advertisements that are:
- Legal, honest, and truthful;
- Respectful of academic and ethical values;
- Aligned with the mission of promoting responsible scientific communication.
The placement of advertisements is determined independently from any editorial consideration related to article selection, topic coverage, or authorship. Editorial content will never be modified, delayed, or tailored to accommodate advertisers.
JICHI does not publish sponsored editorial content, does not accept advertising linked to specific articles, and does not permit "advertorials" or product endorsements within scientific content.
All final decisions on advertising acceptance, placement, and presentation rest with the Editor-in-Chief, based on adherence to the above ethical criteria. While commercial partners are welcome to support open science, their materials will be evaluated solely on compliance—not on financial arrangements. Processing and review may take additional time where necessary.
