Abstract

Creative thinking skills are among the most needed skills in the 21st century to face the complexities of the future. However, many Indonesian students still lack these skills. The purpose of this study was to explore the role of the immersive learning approach as a solution in developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills in students. The method used was a systematic literature review with the PRISMA approach, which allows for the selection and analysis of articles from various scientific databases in a transparent and systematic manner. The results showed that the implementation of the immersive learning approach was consistently positively associated with improvements in creative thinking and problem-solving aspects in students. Immersive learning has been proven effective in encouraging students to analyze, synthesize, and apply knowledge comprehensively, thereby stimulating innovation and creative solutions in solving problems. This study is limited to the immersive learning approach as a solution to develop student creativity. Further research needs to be expanded to include other pedagogical skills, such as the use of technology-integrated learning models.
