Penerapan Family Involvement Pada Manejemen Beban Psikoedukasi Keluarga Lansia Dengan Masalah Hipertensi: Studi Kasus

Abstract


Prevalensi hipertensi pada lansia mencapai 35,78%. Dampak aspek fisik, psikologis, sosial dari penyakit ini tidak hanya dirasakan pasien namun juga keluarga. Psikoedukasi keluarga mampu membantu memaksimalkan peran keluarga dalam memberika dukungan dan perawatan pada pasien. Pada laporan kasus ini menggambarkan beban yang dialami oleh keluarga lansia hipertensi (diukur menggunakan instrumen CANSAS) dan diberikan intervensi terapi keperawatan ners dan psikoedukasi keluarga (6 sesi dalam 8 minggu) dengan menerapkan konsep family involvement. Pemberian intervensi dengan penerapan konsep tersebut dapat memfasilitasi setiap anggota keluarga untuk lebih peduli, mengekspresikan perasaan dan beban serta menemukan solusi bersama. Hasil terapi adalah ditemukannya solusi terdiri dari banyak perspektif sehingga memberikan banyak pilihan. Kesepakatan menyelesaikan masalah dalam keluarga selama proses perawatan keluarga yang sakit dapat dilakukan bersama dan beban keluarga menurun. Keterlibatan keluarga sangat mempengaruhi hasil dari proses dukungan dan perawatan pada keluarga yang sakit.
