Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digitalization in public procurement governance to increase the effectiveness of government investment in North Sulawesi. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study uses secondary data from various sources, including government reports and academic journals, to assess the impact of digital procurement systems on investment efficiency. These findings reveal a significant positive correlation between the implementation of digitalization in public procurement and the effectiveness of government investment. In particular, the results show that increased digitalization leads to increased transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the procurement process, which in turn improves the management of public funds. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including limited infrastructure and human resource capacity, that hinder the full realization of the benefits of digitalization. The study concludes that in order for North Sulawesi to fully utilize digitalization in public procurement, it is important to invest in technological infrastructure and improve the skills of personnel involved in the procurement process. The study contributes to an understanding of how digitalization can transform public sector governance and offers practical recommendations for policymakers to improve investment effectiveness through digital solutions.
