Obturator Bottle Feeding untuk Bayi Baru Lahir dengan Kelainan Celah Langit

Abstract


Bayi yang terlahir dengan defek celah langit dapat mengalami kesulitan saat minum air susu dari ibunya, maupun susu dari botol. Celah langit tidak dapat tertutup rapat, mengingat adanya struktur palatal yang belum lengkap. Keluarnya cairan dari hidung akibat ketidakmampuan palatum untuk memisahkan antara hidung dengan rongga mulut, serta bayi yang mudah tersedak ketika meminum air susu dari ibunya, sering terjadi pada bayi dengan defek celah langit.1 Dibuatkannya bottle feeding obturator ini untuk mempertahankan suction reflex penderita dengan defek celah langit sehingga dapat meminum susu menggunakan botol dengan lancar.
