Penurunan fatigue pada pasien Chronic Kidney Disease yang menjalani hemodialisis menggunakan terapi akupresur

Abstract


Pasien Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) yang menjalani hemodalisis akan mengalami kondisi fatigue. Fatigue dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk melakukan penerapan terapi akupresur terhadap fatigue pada pasien dengan CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis. Studi kasus ini menggunakan metode deskriptif studi dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan yang menggambarkan pengelolaan studi kasus dalam mengaplikasikan pemberian terapi akupresur pada pasien CKD. Subjek studi berjumlah 3 orang yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Intervensi terapi akupresur dilakukan selama 2 minggu sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan dengan durasi 12 menit setiap sesi. Skor fatigue diukur dengan menggunakan Facit Fatigue Scale. Hasil studi kasus pada ketiga subyek studi setelah dilakukan intervensi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor fatigue dimana sebelum dilakukan terapi didapatkan kondisi fatigue sedang pada ketiga subyek studi dengan skor antara 19,19-26,76 dan setelah dilakukan terapi akupresur skor meningkat dimana pada salah satu subyek studi tidak mengalami fatigue dengan skor 50,81 dan kedua subyek studi lain mengalami fatigue ringan dengan skor antara 37,14-39. Terapi akupresur menjadi salah satu terapi komplementer yang efektif untuk menurunkan skor fatigue pada pasien hemodialisis.
