Abstract
Dampak jerawat pada pelajar sangat beragam, seperti mempengaruhi kualitas hidup, harga diri, dan interaksi sosial mereka. Penggunaan antibiotic menjadi saah satu pengobatan utama, namun jangka Panjang dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap resistensi bakteri. Terapi bekam dan essensial oil telah menunjukkan hasil yang menjanjikan dalam mengobati acne vulgaris. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai Cupping Aroma Therapy (CAT) pada pengobatan acne vugaris. Desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest posttest control group design. Sampel berjumlah 30 dengan tehnik simple random sampling, responden yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu 15 kelompok essensial oil bergamot tanpa bekam dan 15 kelompok Cupping Aroma Therapi (CAT). Instrument penelitian menggunakan GAGS (Global Acne Grading System). Hasil uji Wilcoxon kelompok CAT didapatkan nilai P 0,001 dengan mean pre test 21,87 dan posttes 14,80. Sedangkan kelompok esensial oil juga nilai P 0,001 dengan mean pre test 18,20 dan post test 13,87. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa terapi Cupping Aroma Therapy (CAT) dan Essensial oil bergamot sama sama efektif dalam mengatasi acne vulgaris.
